Looks like your getting into some more open sea conditions, not that you haven’t in the past on the great lakes. I’ve always had the impression that the North Atlantic is like a Noreaster down here on a normal day. How far along the coast will you be able to go into a port?
July 16, 1500: It’s been many miles from Two
Harbors…We’ve been following your progress of
course. I know you have everything covered…take
care, fair winds and following seas….Ray..
It has to be the best adventure you’ve ever taken
on. The blogs are fantastic. Sail safe and following
seas.
One day when the mortgage is null, my unconceived children are grown and out of he house and I no longer need to worry about income, I too will be off on a boat. If I am not too old and creeky.
gad tommy!
at the time i didn’t know it,but two days into the 2007-2008 california tour you had your “worst watch ever!”.i listened to you tell visitors that,”in 40 years of going to sea, this deck is where i had stood the ‘worst watch ever’.
when you finish your adventure,i hope that holds true and that was indeed, the worst.
